The Fox News event also bested CNN's town hall with Mr. Sanders on February 25, which drew 1.3 million viewers. President Trump watches your network a little bit, right?

The audience numbers for these events have ranged from a low of 314,000 for an appearance by author Marianne Williamson on Sunday, to a high of 1.9 million for a town hall featuring Sen.

Sen. Bernie Sanders marches along State Montpelier in the 2018 Independence Day Parade. "How many get it from private insurance?"

"Hey, President Trump. My wife and I just released 10 years". I was a mayor for eight years and you know what I did, what probably every mayor in America does, is you look around for the best insurance program, the most cost-effective insurance. Sanders has said in interviews that his recent increase in income is due to the success of his books: 2016's "Our Revolution", which came out after Trump took the presidency and earned a spot on the Times' bestseller list and 2018's "Where We Go from Here: Two Years in the Resistance".

The campaign noted that Sanders paid a 26 percent effective tax rate previous year, but in 2016 and 2017, when he earned more than $1 million, he paid rates of 35 and 30 percent respectively.

So far, those have shown that Harris and her husband made the most money, paid the most in taxes and were taxed at the highest rate.

After Sanders put out the past decade of his taxes, former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke did the same on Monday evening, though without his 2018 return which he hadn't filed yet but said he would make public as soon as he filed.

The tiny organ, now only the size of a cherry, was engineered from the tissue of patients which was use to create a bio-ink. A biopsy of fatty tissue was taken from patients to ultimately create a patient-specific 3D heart, according to the study.

"There's a growing realization that Sanders could end up winning this thing, or certainly that he stays in so long that he damages the actual victor", said Brock, who backed Hillary Clinton's failed presidential bids in 2008 and 2016.

The senator has become a millionaire mainly from his book sales.

Nor is there any suggestion that Sanders would moderate his anti-plutocratic politics to benefit him personally.

Defending the earnings, he said: "Anyone who thinks I should apologize for writing a bestselling book, I'm sorry, I'm not going to do it". That year the couple paid about $340,000 in taxes.

As a senator, Sanders has been required to release a financial disclosure statement, but the information in that is much more limited than the data in a tax return.

"I didn't suggest a wealth tax", MacCallum said back.

Warren released 10 years of her tax returns last year and followed with an 11th year of released returns last week. But his efforts at transparency paled in comparison to his opponent for the Democratic nomination Hillary Clinton, who released eight years of her tax returns.
