India called Pakistan's bluff with air strikes: PM Modi

India Called 'Nuke-Armed' Pak’s Bluff With Balakot Air Strikes – Modi

On AFSPA, PM Modi says, 'Shouldn't our security forces have safety net?'

Predicting a landslide victory for the ruling BJP in the ongoing Lok Sabha polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that there is a powerful wave in favour of the saffron party which is all set to win thrice the seats that Congress will get. Modi had criticised the Abdullah and Mufti families in his campaign during the elections in 2014 as well. "This is how much Modiji believes what he says".

Mehbooba Mufti replied to Omar Abdullah's photo-tweet with one of her own.

Taking a cue from his remarks during the campaign in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua region, former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti tweeted saying, "India is not Modi and Modi isn't India".

At the rally, the Prime Minister had promised to "stand like a wall" against "attempts of the National Conference and the PDP to continue family rule" in the state.

Mehbooba was quick in responding to Modi's allegations by tweeting; "Why does PM bash political families pre elections & then sends his envoys to stitch alliances with the very same parties?" NC in 99 & PDP in 2015.

At a press conference, senior Congress leader Anand Sharma said the Prime Minister should come clean on the issue and the EC should immediately find out what was inside the trunk.

If the Congress comes to power, Moily said it will initiate probes into the functioning of the BJP government during the past five years in which the "nation was misled and kept in the dark" over several important issues like Rafale deal. Every Indian owes his allegiance to India, not PM Modi.

"The Congress was so concerned about their vote bank, that they pretended not to see the atrocities against my Kashmiri Pandit brothers and sisters", Modi said."The BJP is committed to bring the Kashmiri Pandits back to their land. This is a new India and it will strike terrorists well inside their hideouts across the border", he warned.

Modi vowed that India would not give up its claim to Kashmir, the country's only Muslim-dominated state, which has been divided between two countries and been the subject of two wars between the neighbours since their independence in 1947.
