Opener Lokesh Rahul and wicket-keeper/batsman Rishabh Pant are unlikely to sleep much on Sunday night as India selectors prepare to reveal their 15-man squad for the Cricket World Cup. The Committee of Administrators along with office bearers had decided on the date during a meeting last week.

Making it clear that keeping was the principal parameter while looking for Dhoni's back-up in India's World Cup squad, BCCI chairman of selectors MSK Prasad said, "In an important game wicket keeping is also important".

Pakistan were recently clean-swept 5-0 by Australia in the United Arab Emirates, and questions were raised over the team s preparedness for the upcoming World Cup.

It was a toss up between Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant for the reserve wicketkeeper slot.

It goes without saying that Virat Kohli will lead the side and Rohit Sharma will be his deputy. That is the reason that went in favour of Dinesh Karthik. With IPL 2019 already creating a buzz, the biggest announcement about ICC World Cup 2019 Team India squad is out.

The chief selector also heaped praises on Pant and said that the left-handed batsman is full of talent.

Harden, Rockets cruise past Jazz in Game 1
It might have been his playoff debut with San Antonio, but DeMar DeRozan is no stranger to postseason action. The Nuggets will look to tie things up in Game 2 on Tuesday, April 16 at 9:00 p.m. on NBATV Canada.

Amidst the speculations for the No. 4 spot, Ambati Rayudu - who is not being in good form - is missing out of the team. Vijay Shankar is three dimensional.

It was a more or less predictable 15-member squad picked by the national selection committee with another notable inclusion being Tamil Nadu's seam bowling all-rounder Vijay Shankar, who is expected to be used as a floater in the batting order, especially at number 4.

"Over the four years we've been together, we have had so many guys who have contributed to the position we find ourselves", Morgan reflected.

Rahul' selection could also mean bad news for Karthik and Pant.

England, ranked No.1 on the MRF Tyres ICC ODI Team rankings, have been widely touted as favourites for the mega-event.
