Cuphead is Coming to Switch This April

Cuphead First Impressions Gorgeous but Difficult

Cuphead officially coming to Switch on April 18th

Cuphead is coming to another popular platform very soon!

Cuphead developer Studio MDHR announced a free content update coming to the game on April 18 with a new character, updated art, and other fixes.

Cuphead is a run-and-gun indie game starring the brothers Cuphead and Mugman. It's been called the hardest game ever played by many.

Mortal Kombat 11 dev confirms closed beta dates
While the wait for the closed beta persists, NetherRealm has a special reveal planned that seems worthy of anticipation. According to Boon, the Mortal Kombat 11's closed beta will be beginning on March 28th and will be running for 3 days.

In the end, it sounds like Cuphead on Switch will be a mostly by-the-books port. It's a pretty great co-op game too, and much easier with a friend playing with you. While Microsoft has put forth tentative plans to bring Live to Switch, iOS, and Android, Cuphead will be the first actual game to carry it over, meaning we'll finally see how well this crossover works. Yes, this means that fans will now have the opportunity to experience StudioMDHR's award-winning debut game on Nintendo Switch with Xbox Live! If you never had a chance to play it on Xbox One or PC and you love challenging games, it'll nearly certainly be a worthy buy on the Switch.

Studio MDHR is optimizing the game through the update which will result in shorter loading times, a smaller install size, and smaller patch sizes in the future. We'd like to thank Studio MDHR and Nintendo for their help in this investigation!

It seems like online multiplayer may be powered by Xbox Live on Nintendo Switch when it comes to Cuphead. It will probably even feature Xbox Achievements.
