Lori Loughlin's Daughter Olivia Jade Loses Sephora Deal Amid Scandal

Hallmark Drops Lori Loughlin After College Admissions Scandal

Amazon and Sephora hired Lori Loughlin's Instagram-famous daughter as an influencer before the FBI charged her parents in an explosive college admissions bribery scandal

She is accused of paying bribes to get her daughter accepted to the University of Southern California, or USC. Loughlin's daughters allegedly gained entrance into USC as crew recruits, despite not having the credentials to participate in the sport.

Now only a few days later with the scandal still making headlines, the cosmetic brand Sephora has severed their relationship with Jade as well, telling TMZ: "After careful review of recent developments, we have made the decision to end the Sephora Collection partnership with Olivia Jade, effective immediately".

Hair products company TRESemme (TREH'-suh-mae) said in a statement Thursday that it is no longer working with Olivia Jade Giannulli.

Giannulli is both a collaborator and paid influencer with Sephora, releasing an eponymous bronzing powder palette with the superstore in December 2018, InStyle reports. Georgetown University, University of California Los Angeles, University of Texas, Yale University, Stanford University, Wake Forest, University of Southern California and the University of San Diego were named by NBC.

Applicants in the current admissions cycle who are connected to the scheme alleged by the government will be denied admission to USC.

Her father is fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, and her parents are among 50 people arrested in a nationwide college admissions bribery scandal.

It was all orchestrated by William Rick Singer, CEO of a college admissions prep company called The Key.

Jussie Smollett expected in court for his arraignment
Actor Jussie Smollett arrives at the Leighton Criminal Court Building in Chicago , Illinois, U.S., March 14, 2019. The actor's plea comes just a month and a half after his original police report grabbed national attention .

"OK, so, who we are ... what we do is we help the wealthiest families in the United States get their kids into school", Singer told one parent, according to prosecutors.

"A lot of people like to attack me for the way I've grown up because it's really different from a lot of people, and so anything I say that's remotely ignorant or bratty or something that I genuinely don't mean, it gets so much backlash", she said.

Loughlin, best known for her role on Full House (and Netflix's Fuller House revival), on Wednesday turned herself in to the Federal Bureau of Investigation in advance of a court hearing. "But I'm gonna go in and talk to my deans and everyone, and hope that I can try and balance it all. I don't want young girls who work hard to get into college to be scammed by her fake life", another exclaimed. "Never. I always gave them plenty of time to just sit in their playroom and, you know, use their imaginations".

The couple were among dozens indicted Tuesday in the federal college admissions bribery case.

"There were essentially two kinds of fraud that Singer was selling", U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling said.

But public humiliation and potential college explosion (not to mention the possibility of jail time) aren't the only ways in which the stars are being affected as Olivia, the faux-rowing daughter of theFull House star, has had her brand severely damaged and she stands to lose a lotta bucks from the scandal.
