US Says It Stands With India in Fighting Terrorism

Amid reports about "agreement in draft" between the U.S. and Taliban on the foreign forces pullout from Afghanistan, Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that as an important stakeholder in the Afghan peace process, Pakistan wants a "responsible" withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan lauded the efforts of scientists and engineers.

The Foreign Minister also informed Mr. Bolton that Pakistan's High Commissioner to India had returned to Delhi after consultations.
