Passenger chokes driver for singing Christmas songs in March

On Monday 4, 2019, a minivan driver nearly lost his life after he was allegedly choked by a passenger who was unhappy with him singing Christmas songs in March.

Police said they responded around 9 am on Monday to a vehicle parked along Route 28 in East Deer for what they understood to be a medical emergency.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim told the trooper he was driving the minivan with his passenger, 25-year-old Clayton Lucas.

Pa. state police say the passenger, 25-year-old Clayton Lucas, began choking the minivan driver over all the Christmas music.

A Christmas carol lover hit a sour note with a Scrooge who allegedly tried to strangle him last week. The victim told the trooper Lucas reached around his seat while he was driving and began choking him. He said he almost passed out, the complaint states. The trooper noted in the report the victim's neck was red and his eyes were bloodshot.

He noted that "the path for taking a service like Game Pass and bringing it to PC is a natural pass". Gamers will be able to get the PC collection through the Microsoft Store and on Steam .

Neither the driver nor the song were identified.

The Tribune-Review reported that according to court documents, Lucas told police that he choked the victim because he was singing Christmas songs.

Lucas is now in the Allegheny County Jail.

Lucas has now been detained at Allegheny County Jail and faces multiple charges.

When Pennsylvania State Police tried to arrest Lucas, he allegedly wouldn't cooperate and refused to listen to their orders, before he eventually was taken into custody.
