Gmail and Google Drive services suffer outages around the world, including Singapore

The Google disruption first came to light through social media posts at around 10am Singapore time

This issue was not confirmed by Google on its G Suite dashboard. "The affected users are able to access Gmail, but are seeing error messages, high latency, and/or other unexpected behavior". According to Down Detector, Gmail and YouTube started seeing disruptions at 10PM ET on March 12.

"Users will have issues accessing or attaching files in various products", it said, adding that the cause was being investigated.

Gmail and Google Drive appeared to be down for numerous users worldwide on Tuesday evening.

Outage Report has taken almost 500 reports of email sending issues, emails being down and email reading issues in the past 20 minutes alone.

Gmail has more than one billion active users globally. "Message could not be sent". So far, more than 600 reports have been lodged in the past 20 minutes.

Drive users will find it hard to upload and download files.
