Apple has announced a new event scheduled for March 25th.

Taking place at Steve Job Theater in the company's Cupertino HQ, the event will take place at 1 AM Malaysian time on 26 March.

It's nearly a year to the day since Apple announced it had acquired Texture, a digital magazine service that lets users subscribe to more than 200 magazines for about $10 a month.

Apple has also officially put out the event tagline which says "It's show time" and also has sent an animated countdown GIF.

The company is also expected to talk about its new TV streaming service at the event, though that is yet to be confirmed.

In addition to the video streaming service, the news subscription service will probably be along for the ride as well.

The company is expected to focus on its new services at the event. The company said in its recent earnings report that iPhone sales for the holiday quarter fell by 15% compared to the same quarter one year ago while its services business reached an all-time revenue high of $10.9 billion. Apple, which recently stopped disclosing iPhone unit sales data, is increasingly trying to turn investors toward the long-term value of its services ecosystem.

A previous report by Bloomberg also predicted an Apple AR headset to ship by 2020.
