While Nicki was hearing it from fans for her decision, she received some reassurance this afternoon when her boss, Lil Wayne, said he's standing by her. Nicki shared a screenshot on IG of a text Lil Wayne sent her, saying "I'm with u!" after she told him about canceling the BET show.

Lil Wayne did not announce that he is canceling his performance at the BET Experience, but he is standing by his protege in her feud against the network.

Nicki Minaj also encouraged her Barbz to get refunds for their tickets and laughed like a proud mama as they dragged their lacefront. The organisation issued an apology on Monday night when Nicki dropped out of headlining the 2019 awards show and all further projects with the Black Entertainment Television network.

Adding, "Unfortunately the respect we have for Nicki was violated by this post that should never have been written. I don't know what white man from the boards she pissed off".

In another post, Nicki thanked her fans for their support, writing. "We have supported her from the very beginning of her career and will continue to do so moving forward".
