NJ groom charged with sexually assaulting teen server at reception

Groom Allegedly Sexually Assaulted Teenage Waitress and Fought Police at His Own Wedding

Groom charged over alleged sexual assault of teenage waitress at own wedding

After the waitress, whose name has not been released, rejected Aimers advances, the groom allegedly followed her to the bathroom, where he exposed himself and sexually assaulted her.

On November 24, 2018, Newlywed Matthew Aimers, 31, was at his reception at the Northampton Valley Country Club in New Jersey when he reportedly asked the waitress if they could 'go outside and makeout'.

In court documents obtained by Oxygen.com, prosecutors paint a hellish picture of a wedding reception that descended into chaos. He was nabbed for harassment, disorderly conduct, indecent assault and exposure, as well as corruption and imprisonment of a minor. While police were speaking to the club's manager about the initial report, a second fight broke out at the club's entrance, according to the criminal complaint. The waitress recalled Aimers offering her $100 and asking, "Can you kiss me like you mean it?"

According to the complaint, Aimers followed her into the women's restroom and grabbed her by the arm to pull her into an empty stall where he exposed himself and sexually assaulted her. Aimers offered her $100 to continue and asked her to "kiss me like you mean it" after he pressed his penis against her trousers.

Aimers pushed the waitress into an empty stall and started forcibly kissing her, she later told police.

Kate Miller-Heidke to represent Australia at Eurovision Song Contest 2019
The Eurovision finals and grand final are scheduled to be held at the Tel Aviv Convention Centre on 14, 16 and 18 May. In 2018, Israeli singer Netta Barzilai won the contest, helping to bring the competition to her country this year.

A brief struggle ensued before police took Aimers into custody, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Officers tried to apprehend Aimers, but boarded a country club shuttle bus in a futile attempt to escape.

His lawyer, Louis Busico, told KYW that Aimers is denying the charges. "He did not commit any crime at his wedding reception and he looks forward to clearing his name after trial". Aimers is expected in court on February 21 and is out of jail after posting $35,000 of his $350,000 bail.

The alleged incident hasn't impacted Aimers' marital status Busucio noted, who added his client's wife, Kayla is "100 percent supportive, 100 percent loving, and 100 percent in his corner".
