A state of emergency has been declared in Washington State following a measles outbreak.
VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) - Health officials say the number of confirmed cases of measles in western Washington has grown to 30, with nine more cases suspected.
Of the 31 cases in Clark County, 27 cases involve unimmunized people. Only 77.4 percent of all public students there complete their vaccinations, according to state records cited by the Oregonian.
So far, Clark County Public Health has found that 20 of those with the disease had not been immunized.

Around 88 per cent of children in the province have been sufficiently vaccinated against the disease.
Officials there say they expect more cases.
