Mortal Kombat 11 Rumoured To Have Ronda Rousey Portraying Sonya Blade

Mortal Kombat 11 Cover Features a Beloved Character

Scorpion is the golden child who's on the cover of Mortal Kombat 11

Ed Boon, the creator of Mortal Kombat and the director of the current game, has shared the MK11's cover art through Twitter. If you're unfamiliar with those, they're kind of like Mortal Kombat titles starring DC heroes and villains, though that's an admitted oversimplification.

Raiden has been corrupted from the final battle of Mortal Kombat X, and Dark Raiden is seen fighting two different versions of Scorpion.

Announced during The Game Awards 2018, Mortal Kombat 11 was a huge surprise for everyone in the audience and for those watching the live stream from home.

Happy to share with everyone the official cover art for Mortal Kombat 11 here!

Dispute Between Unity, Cloud Service Shuts Down Some Online Games
Improbable said Unity has hurt projects across the industry, particularly among smaller developers, leaving games in legal limbo. This change to Unity's terms came on December 5, 2018, but wasn't clarified directly to Improbable until January 9, 2019.

One of the more surprising rumours about the new game sees current WWE Raw Women's Champion, Ronda Rousey, linked with a role in the new game. Fans of Injustice 2 can probably expect some aspects of the Gear System to carry over to the Custom Character System.

Mortal Kombat 11 will be out on April 23, 2019, for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Of course, we also know that Ed Boon is a bit of a troll considering how he laughed at a supposed leak. What do you think we'll learn during the event?

Make sure to tune into the event live on January 17 to find out for yourself, and you can expect our take on whatever is announced shortly after.
