The company's new Redmi Note 7 is a low-end Android phone focused on markets like India and China. This could suggest that the Snapdragon 660 will fuel the phone, despite the fact pretty much everyone expected to see the Snapdragon 710 being utilized in the Redmi Note 7, which could still happen.

In the optics department, the device sports a 48MP rear camera but due to its Quad-bayer filter, it's better used for outputting 12MP images with a 1,6 µm pixel and real-time HDR.

That said, this 48 MP rear camera on the Redmi Note 7 is a part of the dual camera setup which is placed vertically on the back of the smartphone in the top-left corner.
