Mourinho free to return to Real

Jose Mourinho Free For Real Madrid Return As Manchester United Pay Compensation Reports

Jose Mourinho is available for a dramatic return to Real Madrid

It was never going to take long for Mourinho to find a new job, but it has to be said that United's decision to sack him was the right one.

Mourinho has also been linked with a return to Real Madrid, but did not comment on the rumours linking him with Los Blancos.

Mourinho has been touted as the man to save Madrid ever since his Manchester United sacking last month.

"There are no issues over Jose's contract with Manchester United".

His record speaks for itself and various new job opportunities have been mooted since he became available to take charge at a new club.

He said on the prospect of returning: "They are things that are said and I will not feed".

Reports in Portugal last week stated that the Lisbon club were keen on offering Mourinho a return to management.

No. 2 MI beats No. 21 IN 74-63 To Stay Unbeaten
Instead, the Wolverines played like a top-five team and never trailed once to IN , the No. 21 team IN the country IN a 74-63 win. Michigan's Zavier Simpson scored 12 points and freshman Brandon Johns had eight points and eight rebounds.

Mourinho's time at Real between 2010-2013 - which brought a league title and a Spanish Cup but saw them largely play second fiddle to Barcelona - ended as it did at United and Chelsea, with bad results and discord in the dressing room.

Interestingly for a man who operates on something of a scorched earth policy when things are going badly for him in a job, the Portuguese manager has been nearly exclusively linked with clubs that he has already managed.

The La Liga giants are struggling domestically at present, meaning Santiago Solari is already under-fire despite only replacing Julen Lopetegui earlier this season. I don't really want to go there, but the best way to respect a great club [Benfica] and a great president is to say that I was not offered.

The 55-year-old has now finally broken silence on the claims, putting speculation firmly to bed.

The Daily Mail reports that a source close to Mourinho - whose contract was due to run till the end of the 2019/20 campaign with the option of an extra season -revealed that compensation had been paid.

The amount United would be entitled to is £10m, which Real will have to fork over if they make Mourinho their manager before December 18, 2019.
