Finally, the name of the new iPhone is still a mystery, because after the iPhone Xs, Apple could choose to continue with the Roman numeration (iPhone XI), return to the numbers (iPhone 11) or completely change its name. And the word on the street is that the Cupertino, California based company is planning to launch three new iPhone models this year.
This means Apple will maintain its two-OLED, one-LCD model lineup for the 2019 iPhone as well, despite rumours that the company could give up on LCD for this year's generation. The lower end models will each have dual camera lenses, an update for the XR successor.

"What we want from Apple is something that makes us emotional, even unconsciously-say, truly lovely and sophisticated design that we can't resist", said Atsushi Osanai, a professor at Waseda University in Tokyo who is an expert in electronics.
If Apple does go down this route, it wouldn't be the first smartphone manufacturer to do so.
Apple does not report individual unit sales for iPhones and iPads in its quarterly earnings reports, so we won't know exactly how many iPhone XRs have sold since its release in October 2018.
