Meghan Markle may be trading in her title as the Duchess of Sussex for the name Rachel Zane, NBC Universal reportedly offering the new royal a multi-million dollar donation to charity for her to briefly reprise her role on Suits.
Meghan's last episode aired in the United Kingdom in April a month before she married Harry previous year.
Just one example of the change was highlighted by reports last week that suggested the Duchess of Sussex had banned Prince Harry from drinking alcohol and anything with caffeine in it, including tea and coffee.
According to the Daily Star, an NBC source revealed the bosses are looking to offer a generous charity donation to Meghan's choice of organisation for a one-off return to the series.
'No final figure has yet been arrived at but negotiations are likely to be opened in the very near future'.

The conflict has seen the rise in illegal mining both by villagers and Taliban fighters who use it as a key source of revenue. The provincial governor's spokesman Nik Mohammad Nazari told French Press Agency ( AFP ) the miners were not professionals.
She added, "People do change when they get married".
Meghan, 37, is expecting her first child with Prince Harry in the spring, and was rumoured to have been offered a chance to portray her character Rachel Zane as expecting her first child with on-screen husband Michael Rose, played by Patrick J Adams.
According to a source, the shooting could be done in less than a day, and the story line might mirror Meg's real life-as in, they may have her "pregnant and happy living with Mike [her husband on the show] in the United Kingdom". "We could create a storyline where Rachel and Mike have created new lives for themselves and are starting a family, with Rachel showing an obvious baby bump", said the source, adding that viewers could possibly visit a pregnant Rachel living with Mike in the United Kingdom.
The socialite explained, "Everything I hear is that Harry is completely beguiled by Meghan and completely enthralled to her and has changed considerably". "This particular route would beautifully mirror real life".
"I think if you put any family under the microscope you will find weird dynamics that could make headlines, but fundamentally I think they are a really lovely couple", she said.
