Stranger Things 3: The Game Trailer World Premiere

The Duffer Brothers, who created the Netflix show, announced the game on November 6 during the Game Awards.

The first title based on the show, Stranger Things: The Game, was released on iOS back in 2017 favorable reviews. However, you'll have to wait a little bit for it. Perhaps playing the entire game will give us even more clues for season 3.

The game will feature a "few surprises of its own" but will be grounded in the events of the yet to be released third season.

Obsidian unveils sci-fi RPG that could steal Starfield's thunder
As for the game itself, The Outer Worlds is set to make its debut sometime in 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Geoff Keighley and Obsidian teased the game's announcement last week with the tagline, "Worlds Will Change".

Developer BonusXP will be bringing Stranger Things 3: The Game to "all platforms" including the Nintendo Switch in the near future.

The trailer itself shows you play as Jim Hopper and Steve Harrington in a classic arcade style beat-em-up, as you collect coins before fleeing into an actual arcade. Showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer may be denying us the Stranger Things season 3 trailer we deserve, but at least we can parse through the newly released Stranger Things 3: The Game trailer for clues about what we can expect.

The series was created by The Duffer Brothers, who also serve as executive producers and directors along with Shawn Levy (who also directs), Dan Cohen and Iain Patterson.
