The end of the year is upon us, which means it's time for another iteration of Geoff Keighley's The Game Awards. Big titles vying for the "best" in several categories include Marvel's Spider-Man, Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassin's Creed Origins, God of War, Monster Hunter: World, Detroit: Become Human, and Life is unusual 2.

The Game Awards are right around the corner - here's how to watch them - and while the awards serve as a celebration of 2018, fans are are also tuning in for delectable hints of the games arriving in 2019 and beyond. The Game Awards 2018 are about to start, and we're in this together.

Sony's sale this year is offering up to 60% off award-nominated titles for this years Game Awards.

Along with the ceremony, The Game Awards will also be littered with performances and reveals.

The Game Awards begin on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 8:30 p.m. EST.

Keighley also told GamesIndustry.biz that there will be a "ton" of games that will be announced during the show and then launched straight after as a way to keep viewers further engaged. While we know some of the announcements we can expect, others have only been teased.
