Teasing a full announcement for The Game Awards tomorrow night (which Alice Prime will be burning the midnight oil to cover), the trailer below gives us a little taste of the things to come. However, given that the event doesn't start until tomorrow, the company has chose to publish a brief teaser trailer to get its fans hyped about what is clearly a new Far Cry title. We get glimpses of that in the teaser with the purple flowers.
That would make it the first Far Cry game in a long while to continue the story of the previous one, but whether it'd be called Far Cry 5-2, or something similar, remains to be seen.
Sports Direct boss Mike Ashley eyes imminent sale of Newcastle United
James's Park side looked prime candidates for relegation from the Premier League this season after a woeful start to the season. The Sports Direct and House of Fraser boss did not name the prospective buyer of the Premier League club.
At the end of the game, one of the endings caused a Nuclear War to break out, destroying the land and all life. Starting life as a fairly awkward pre-recorded affair, it's now grown into a massive live event - and with it comes not only recognition for already-released games, but sneak peaks at a few brand new ones, too.
So yeah, a Far Cry spin-off or perhaps sequel seems to be on the horizon. Because of this, it seems likely that whatever this new game is for will be an entirely separate experience rather than just DLC for FC5.
