Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who stood second past year, bagged the 13th position. However, superstar Salman Khan has maintained his position on the top for the third time. He is followed by Virat Kohli, India's cricket captain (Rs 228.09 crore) and another Bollywood superstar, Akshay Kumar (Rs 185 crore).
Once again Salman Khan has topped the list of Forbes India Celebrity 100.
The 2018 Forbes India Celebrity 100 List rankings are based on estimates of entertainment-related earnings of celebrities.
Badminton star PV Sindhu is 4th on the list with fellow shuttler Saina Nehwal occupying the 10th spot on the standings. Down by 33 percent, his earnings were goosed at Rs 56 crore by the magazine.
After making headlines with her grand wedding with actor Ranveer Singh, actress Deepika Padukone is raising the bar by entering the top five of Forbes' Richest Indian Celeb List. Nayanthara is the only female actor to make it to the list from the south.
A total of 15 celebrities from the south Indian film industry made it to the list, with Kollywood contributing eight actors. Though he retired from the game in 2013, his earnings stood at 80 crore this year compared to the average of 73.12 crore over the past seven years.
His earnings were backed by endorsements of several consumer-facing brands, and constitute 8.06 per cent of the total earnings - Rs 3,140.25 crore - of the top 100 celebrities for the year, read a statement from Forbes. Bumrah is 60th in the list of top-earning celebrities with earnings of Rs 16.42 crore, while Pandey is 77th with Rs 13.08 crores earned in 2018.
