The offensive line was awful in the beginning of the year, it's coming along a little bit, Le'Veon Bell should help there.
The dust is finally settling on what was the relationship between the Pittsburgh Steelers and running back Le'Veon Bell.
Wednesday afternoon players removed Bell's nameplate from his locker and started rummaging through his items.
Bell, who turns 27 in February, had 7,996 total yards and 42 touchdowns in 62 games as a starter for the Steelers.
What Bell walked away from was the final seven weeks of a $14.5 million franchise-tag tender and a chance to contribute for the Steelers in their quest for a third consecutive AFC North title and their first Super Bowl appearance in eight years.
Luis Severino finishes ninth in the 2018 AL Cy Young voting
DeGrom toppled Scherzer in a landslide, taking home 29 of the 30 first-place votes (with Scherzer securing the other). Verlander led the AL with 290 strikeouts while going 16-9 with a 2.52 ERA for AL West champion Houston .
Bud Dupree was seen on video taking some of Bell's Jordan cleats.
Bell's locker remained untouched throughout his holdout prior to Wednesday.
"Appreciate the cleats, my guy", Dupree said into a camera. "We fall short on things because guys get selfish or guys say, 'Hey, yeah, we're going to take a deal'". But like I said, to each their own. Bell, Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown formed the "Killer B's", one of the NFL's most formidable trios. I hate it. [The franchise tag] could be good for both sides because you're one of the highest paid at your position. By doing so, Bell will not receive the money and miss the rest of the season.
The Steelers will push on for the stretch run with veteran Stevan Ridley and rookie Jaylen Samuels backing up starter James Conner, who is third in the National Football League with 771 rushing yards.
