The Mi 8 Pro was previously launched in China, and soon after, which the company started teasing the global roll-out of the phone, and considering India is one of the most important countries for Xiaomi, we expect the phone will be coming to the country soon.
It packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage but there's no microSD card slot for expanding storage. Like any Mi device, there's no expandable storage. For selfies, it gets a 20MP front camera upfront. As for the configurations, the Mi 8 Pro comes with a dual camera setup on the rear with a primary sensor of 12-megapixel for wide-angle shots and secondary sensor of also 12-megapixel.
Unlike the Mi 8 Explorer Edition, it doesn't come with 3D face unlock, however, it uses the same Infrared Face Unlock like the standard Mi 8. The Lite provides hardcore performance for value while the Pro mixes in a few advanced technologies like an in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared facial recognition system.

On another hand, the 6GB/128 variant of the phone will be made available exclusively at the physical Mi Authorized Stores for RM 1299 on 10 November. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor clocked at 2.8GHz, along with Adreno 630 GPU.
The Pro costs £499 direct from Xiaomi while the Lite will start from £249. Unfortunately, it lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack like its bigger Mi 8 siblings.
At 8pm on November 9, the company will slash the price of the £259 Xiaomi Mi A2 to £1 as well, followed by the Mi 8 Lite on Saturday November 10 at 12pm, and finally, the £259 Xiaomi Mi A2 on November 11 at midday.
