"I'm happy I could come here and show the world I'm improving", he added.

Bolt, a eight-time Olympic sprint champion scored the Mariners' third and fourth goals for Central Coast Mariners.

He netted his second goal in the 68th minute when he capitalized on a defensive error to tap home from close range before being substituted in the 75th minute.

He brought out his trademark celebration after scoring his first Mariners goal, the striker being played in by McCormack on the left, shrugged off a United defender and fired in low beating Consoni at the near post.

Bolt is a Manchester United fan, and while things are not going well for the Premier League club now, they aren't quite bad enough to justify handing him a contract, or even a trial.

Despite having the experience of Tommy Oar and Ross McCormack alongside him, heavy first touches saw Bolt give up possession easily as he struggled to make any real impact.

The retired eight-time Olympic gold medalist sprinter is trying to secure a place with the Mariners for this season, which begins for the Mariners on October 21 against the Brisbane Roar.

Showing that he is not just any trialist, Bolt signalled to the bench that he wanted five more minutes, but his hat trick was not forthcoming and he left the field to a standing ovation.

The policing costs will have been increased by the 1km carriage ride the couple will make through the town after the ceremony. Princess Beatrice , Eugenie's older sister, is maid of honour, while the groom's brother, Thomas Brooksbank, is the best man.

"Playing my first game as a starter and scoring twice is an incredible feeling", the eight-time Olympic medal victor said.

'I'm keen to be a Mariner, to play my best and get into the team'.

The goal was marked in a style only he could muster - by striking the famous "lightning bolt" pose usually reserved for track victories.

Usain Bolt wants to be a footballer more than anything in the world.

"He is very humble", he said of Bolt. He just looks a little bit sharper, not a great deal to be honest.
