Where do things stand with Jimmy Butler's trade request?

Report: Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor rejected Heat’s Jimmy Butler trade offer that included Josh Richardson, protected 1st-round pick

Report: Heat interested in restarting Butler trade talks

There has been hope among the Minnesota front office, coaching staff and some teammates that Butler would rejoin the team, but it remained to be seen what, if anything, Butler would do on the court with the Wolves on Wednesday. ESPN added that "Butler was vociferous and emotional at times", with his comments directed at president/coach Tom Thibodeau, general manager Scott Layden, center Karl-Anthony Towns and swingman Andrew Wiggins.

Butler met with Timberwolves head coach Tom Thibodeau and requested to be traded from the organization before he begins his final season under contract in Minnesota.

Butler had previously been excused from training camp and preseason games as the team dealt with his trade request.

In what may be a good sign for the Wolves, though, Wojnarowski reported via Twitter that Butler practiced with the team today. "You can't win without me, '" ESPN reported, citing sources. Yes, Butler will return, but there will be plenty of drama. "Butler has told Minnesota that he'll leave in free agency in July - and wants a trade now". The Heat and president Pat Riley were "as aggressive as any team in pursuit of a Jimmy Butler trade", per Wojnarowski.

Except for this trade, the Timberwolves responded with an amendment to the framework of the deal, according to Wojnarowski, which caused the trade talks to "fracture".

International Monetary Fund warns Pakistan against ‘excessive loans’ from China
Compared to the projections made in April, the current one for 2018 is lower by 0.1 per cent and for 2019 by 0.4 per cent. The IMF expects the U.S. economy to grow by 2.9 per cent and China's by 6.6 per cent this year.

Moving onto other big Woj news, the Miami Heat are re-interested in Jimmy Butler.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets also haven't given up on the idea of landing Butler in a trade, according to multiple sources and reports.

While the Butler saga seems to be dragging on, it's only been three weeks, as one GM pointed out to AmicoHoops.

Some have speculated that could mean Butler would come back to play with Minny in the next few days, I seriously doubt that and I don't think anyone should humor that idea.
