On Monday, he cancelled the press conference where he was due to address the sexual harassment allegations levelled against him by actress Tanushree Dutta.

Tanushree Dutta has accused Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her on the sets of "Horn Ok Pleassss" in 2008 during a song shoot. In a video that soon surfaced, one could see Tanushree's vehicle been attacked as she was trying to leave the shooting venue. Talking about Nana Patekar, the actor recently wrapped up the Rajasthan schedule of Sajid Khan's Housefull, which features the ensemble star cast of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles. The text message, sent out late on Sunday, read, "Just wanted to inform that there's no press conference tomorrow". After giving a series of interviews about her support towards #MeToo Movement and about her becoming a victim on the sets of her film, Dutta has now taken legal action against Nana Patekar. "Will let you know about the further proceedings soon, regards", reports news agency PTI.

Dutta's complaint, filed in Oshiwara police station in Mumbai, also names choreographer Ganesh Acharya, producer Sameer Siddiqui and director Rakesh Sarang.

Nana has already sent a legal notice to Tanushree. "The truth that was there 10 years back stands true even today", he said at a press conference in Mumbai.
