Maroon 5 to play Super Bowl halftime

An NFL spokesperson refused to confirm or deny whether Maroon 5 will headline the Super Browl LIII halftime show.

The Super Bowl is set to take place on February 3 in Atlanta, Ga.

Maroon 5 will be the performer during the Pepsi Halftime Show at Super Bowl LIII, Variety's Jem Aswad and Shurley Halperin reported Wednesday, citing two sources.

'The offer has been extended and they've pretty much accepted, ' an unnamed source told the site. We'll update this post upon confirmation, or if we hear any other news about this report.
