On The Ellen Show this week, Ellen DeGeneres brought together Halsey and the iconic rapper for a surprise meeting. Elliott ended up complimenting her "funky white sister" after the performance, claiming that she forgets the lyrics all the time while Halsey has them all down.
Even though Mary admitted that she had been singing this song for 17 years, she only recently gained attention when she was singing at Rhode Island's Goddard Park karaoke competition.
The 58-year-old brandished a shofar and, given the song's explicit subject matter, got about as raunchy as a daytime network TV broadcast will allow. Of course, DeGeneres had to ask Halsey to sing it for her audience.
"I learned; and I read the words; and I studied it and the reaction that I got was so positive that it became my go-to song", she said. "Mary is one of the sweetest souls I met".

President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana described him as a peaceful man who gave his life to defend the voiceless. Annan was enthused about his Ghana Beyond Aid agenda.
Halsey hit the stage for her signature performance only to be surprised by Elliott, who walked out to join her.
She later sat down alongside Missy, who praised the viral sensation.
Thankfully, that's not the end of the story for Elliott and Halsey's interactions. "I thought it was the most awesome thing".
Over the summer, Mary went viral with a karaoke version of the hip-hop track, and when Missy spotted the footage, she posted the video to social media, calling Mary her "funky white sister". "So when I listen, I'm like, she knows all the words, but the sound effects-she made the elephant noise, all of that".
