New leaks suggest Apple's new iPhones will support dual SIM cards

Apple Inc unveiled larger iPhones and watches based on the design of current models on Wednesday, confirming expectations that the company is making only minor changes to its lineup. This year, the new models will likely be available for purchase much closer to their announcement date.

Apple also says that "Other platforms may also be able to access the stream using recent versions of Chrome or Firefox (MSE, H.264, and AAC required)", so if you are running something else, head over to the Apple Events page and it could still work for you.

Now, it seems, we know for sure.

Apple celebrated the tenth anniversary of the iPhone previous year with the launch of its most controversial phone to date: the iPhone X. With its edge-to-edge display and substantial notch, the iPhone X marked a turning point in the design of not only Apple's smartphones, but phones from vendors all around the world.

The 'Gather round' Apple keynote event will kick off at 10am PT which is 10:30pm IST.

Defiant Australian paper reprints ‘racist’ Serena cartoon
Every time we cry foul over tennis goddess Serena Williams being victimised in a "white man's game", we fail as Serena fans. The cartoon was intended as a lampoon of the tennis star's angry exchanges with chair umpire Carlos Ramos at the U.S.

While it is the market leader, the Apple Watch still doesn't sell in high enough quantities for Apple to break out individual unit sales like it does for Macs, iPads, and iPhones. It will come with a faster processor and better cameras.

It is expected to be a grander form of the iPhone X with a 6.5-inch screen, around an inch bigger than the screen of the iPhone 8 Plus. According to industry experts, it is likely to have aluminium edges instead of stainless steel.

Succeeding MacBook Air, it will be a lower-cost laptop with a 13-inch display.

It's rumoured that Apple has ditched the home button on this tablet with this allowing the United States technology firm to push the display closer to the edge and reduce those bezels.

Industry analysts expect the price of new iPhones to start from Dh3,200 and it could go beyond Dh4,500. However, the product has buoyed revenue from Apple's "Other Products" segment, which also includes the Apple TV, HomePod, and AirPods.
