Logitech releases vertical mouse in MX series

According to Logitech, the 57-degree angle reduces the "muscular activities" needed to operate the mouse by around 10 percent. That's why it decided to make the £93/$99 MX Vertical.

Why it matters: If, like me, you find your hand/wrist achy and cramping after a long day of work, Logitech could a have a solution in the form of the MX Vertical-its first vertical mouse.

Logitech's claim is rooted in science, and while the MX Vertical might look funky to some, the company is adamant that there is a real goal behind the non-traditional design.

Senegal's Mane seals Liverpool win: Salah proves to be the difference
Palace went down to 10 men with around 15 minutes to go when Aaron Wan-Bissaka fouled Salah when he was running through on goal. It wasn't the normal attacking outburst we are used to seeing from Liverpool , but it was enough to lock up three points.

The sensor inside the MX Vertical is 4,000DPI for high precision, with the cursor speed and accuracy customizable with a button press. The computer mouse hasn't changed all that much since it was invented in 1964, with niceties like wireless communication and optical sensors - plus endless buttons for the gamers - the only real improvements.

An Easy Switch feature lets you seamlessly switch the mouse between two PCs without having to re-pair the device, certainly a boon for those who will be using the MX Vertical with more than one computer. Especially eager buyers can pre-order the mouse from Logitech's website starting August 20. It might look far from your standard mouse, but the company says it was designed with ergonomic experts to reduce forearm strain and wrist pressure. Being a wireless mouse, there is a built-in rechargeable battery that is rated to last for up to four months on a full charge.

Available in any color you want, so long as that color is black, the MX Vertical has been created to eliminate wrist pain by enabling you to use it with what Logitech says is "a natural handshake position".
