"The idea for Star Wars Resistance came out of my interest in World War II aircraft and fighter pilots". Well, since they were part of the resistance, mostly resisting. The first trailer for Star Wars Resistance debuted today, giving audiences a glimpse at the anime-inspired series. Check out the first teaser.
Kaz is stationed alongside Poe's longtime friend Jarek Yeager (Legion's Scott Lawrence), a seasoned pilot who runs the fix shop. Kaz soon finds himself in over his head with his new friend BB-8 as he'll have to compete in unsafe sky races, keep his mission a secret from his newfound family, and avoid the danger of the First Order. Droid fan favorite BB-8 is in there, and there's an appearance from Poe Dameron from the recent Saga movies, voiced by Oscar Isaac. His agent is a monster negotiator. It will premiere this fall on Disney Channel in the USA and thereafter, on Disney XD and around the world. A first look trailer for the new series has been released, which you can check out the Star Wars Resistance trailer in the player below! With the news that it was bringing back Star Wars: The Clone Wars, I didn't expect the Mouse to premiere Resistance until the middle of 2019, closer to when Star Wars: Episode IX hits theaters. My grandfather was a pilot and my uncle flew and restored planes, so that's been a big influence on me.
White stuff from tomb is world's oldest cheese
The canvas further supports the cheese theory as the fabric type suggests the container was once home to a solid. Nearby, they found a scrap of canvas fabric that was likely used to preserve and cover the ancient blob of food.
The high-flying adventure series follows Kazuda Xiono ("Kaz"), a young pilot recruited by the Resistance for a top-secret mission to spy on the growing threat of the First Order.
In order to fulfill his mission, Kaz travels to the space station Colossus, which is being used by many ships as a port to refuel and do repairs. Additional voice actors include Bobby Moynihan, Donald Faison, Christopher Sean, Suzie McGrath, Scott Lawrence, Myrna Velasco, Josh Brener, Jim Rash, and Rachel Butera. However, there are also unsafe races taking place there.
