Marvel's Iron Fist season 2 trailer: Danny Rand battles Steel Serpent

People love to hate the character, but he also has his fans, who will no doubt be pleased to see a new trailer for Season 2 of the show. The new poster shows off the sleek new logo that Iron Fist is using for its second season, boldly displays the classic Iron Fist symbol and reminds viewers of the Sep. Taking Matt Murdock's role as the protector of Manhattan (dammit The Defenders, why did you say "protector" instead of "defender?"), Rand has some new challenges, namely his old friend and now enemy Davos (Sacha Dhawan) who has taken the identity of the Steel Serpent.

The classic Iron Fist costume gets a lot of attention in the Netflix trailer also, though it's not clear Danny will actually don it in the present day as opposed to just flashbacks.

Marvel's Iron Fist Season 2 will premiere September 7 on Netflix.

Fox News makes error in Aretha Franklin tribute video
Fans began to reminisce about the times she dazzled spectators with her renditions of the national anthem. They said in a statement: 'For more than 50 years, she stirred our souls.

What do you think of the first full trailer? Glowing fists all around. Once Davos takes the iron fist ability for himself, Danny has to enlist the help of Colleen and Misty (Simone Missick) - the Daughters of the Dragon, y'all - to take him down the hard way. At least until it's bloodied up, because K'un-Lun doesn't mess around. Meanwhile, Danny is already feeling ambivalent about his power and questioning the long-term impact of his nightly patrols to keep the peace in Hell's Kitchen with Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) providing butt-kicking backup.

You'd be forgiven for losing track of Marvel's various Defenders series and characters on Netflix over the past few years-particularly if you let its weakest standalone series, Iron Fist, fall through your viewing queue.
