T-Mobile introduced a less expensive version of its unlimited plan, offering four lines of no-frills service for $120.

What's not included in T-Mobile Essentials are features like free Netflix for family plans.

It's offering a new "unlimited" data plan, T-Mobile Essential, for $60/month.

Pricing starts at just $60 per month for the first line, provided you are set up on the automatic bill payment. But it also undercuts T-Mobile ONE, while providing fewer benefits.

The cheaper plan limits video to 480p and hotspot connections are always 3G. The plan lacks any fancy add-ons like global data access or unlimited mobile hotspot, and instead focuses on what most people care strongly about.
