Google Pixel 3 XL images leak again, and this time it’s the real deal (Update: unboxing video)

The images give us our best look yet at the device and its packaging, and they confirm some of its specifications.

Google's upcoming Pixel 3 XL, which will arrive this fall to do battle with Apple's larger iPhone, has leaked out early in a series of unboxing photos.

From the looks of things, Google will continue to include the audio adapter with the new Pixel 3 devices.

With the phone actually turned on and working, we get to learn a bit more about it.

It's also possible to make out the dual-tone white finish on the rear. Second, the notch takes up so much horizontal space that there's only room for three notification icons in the status bar. These devices will likely roll with the newest in new Android, Android 9 Pie, an operating system that's also just been released. That'd indicate that we're running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 here - which is right on the mark for what this smartphone's been rumored to run for the past several weeks. Coincidentally or not, Google released Android 9 Pie just a few days ago and managed to made headlines at a time when everyone was talking about Samsung's Galaxy Note 9.
