Google Pixel 3 XL: is it really worth waiting for? | AndroidPIT

This is when Google is announcing the Pixel 3

This autumn is shaping up to offer customers a great choice of top smartphones and Google wants to get in on the action.

And gadget fans have just been given their first idea of when to expect the new Google flagship.

It was posted on FameBit, Google's own YouTube influencer marketing platform, as an advert offering money to content creators in Canada who are willing to promote the new phone in return for cold, hard cash.

Considering that both the original Pixel and the Pixel 2 were released on this date in 2017 and 2016 respectively, you may be forgiven for thinking there wasn't a lot of detective work that went into this. These are the Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel and Pixel XL.

Unfortunately, the Pixel 3 XL scored lower on the benchmark than other devices with the 845, though this is likely to change between the production test unit and the final version of the device, so there's no need to fear just yet.

The Google Pixel 3 XL will probably feature a display notch, while the Pixel 3 will not, but its bezels will be a bit thicker because of it.

Cleveland Browns trade WR Corey Coleman to Buffalo Bills
His progress has been slowed by a broken hand in each of his two National Football League seasons. "I feel like it's important". He was selected by the Browns after they sent their number 2 overall pick to the Philadelphia Eagles .

It reads: "The Pixel 3 phone is launching October 4, 2018".

To date, Google's Pixel phones have been announced on the 4th of October.

So far, we are seeing new Android 9.0.0 files for Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL (PPR1.180610.009, PPR1.180610.011), as well as the Pixel and Pixel XL (PPR1.180610.009, PPR1.180610.010).

A launch date of October 4 would, providing Apple maintains the same sort of release schedule this year, means the Pixel 3 range would launch mere days after the new iPhones hit store shelves, and be then in people's hands within weeks.

The finished version of the Android P has arrived and Google is calling it Android 9 Pie.
