The Android smartphone will not even ring. You can choose to turn it off. Google has now updated the support page of the Phone app to notify the changes which will help users filter spam calls. To enable the setting, you first need to make sure you have Google's phone app installed (it comes standard on some phones, like the Pixel, but for some phones you'll need to download it separately and set it as your default phone app). Although third-party applications have existed on the App Store for preventing and blocking spam calls, there has been no guarantee about their efficiency of detecting these calls. Spam callers will still be able to leave to a voicemail, which can be checked from the call history, but even that won't leave a notification, making interruptions nearly non-existent. The new feature routes the pesky or spam calls to your voicemail so that you do not have to face unwanted encounters.
If you want to turn on the feature, head into the phone's Settings - Caller ID & Spam, and then select the Caller ID & spam toggle.
Michelle Obama Spotted At Beyonce And Jay-Z Concert
Over the weekend, she made a decision to let loose and attend Beyoncé and Jay Z's On The Run II concert in Paris. And who could forget when the singer performed for the first couple at Obama's 2009 inaugural ball?
Users can also mark calls as spam.
The Phone app identifies suspected spam callers by turning your phone's entire screen red when it rings, which is a clear visual indicator that you should not pick up and it is a spam call. In case you also think a legit call may have been marked as spam, you can still check out the calls that have been blocked through your call history and then listen to any voicemails left to you. Tap the call, then on "Block/report spam". Whenever I stick around long enough to talk to a rep so I can ask them to stop calling me again, they immediately hang up on me. Users will be able to block the number and report it as spam.
