There is plenty of Manchester United-related gossip doing the rounds in the papers with the Red Devils linked with a whole host of star names.

Last night (Thurday 12 July) Elevens Bar & Grill and the Football Association of Wales jointly hosted a Q&A evening with Gareth Bale.

Gareth discussed his success at Real Madrid and paid his respects to his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo: "His record at Real Madrid is incredible and I wish him all the best at Juventus".

The final will forever be remembered for Bale's astonishing overhead kick.

New Uncharted Fan Film Features Nathan Fillion as Nathan Drake
When the Naughty Dog video game dropped back in 2007, the physical similarities between Fillion and Drake were pretty apparent. Stephen Lang brought the cigar-chomping Sully to life and Mircea Monroe provided an all too brief glimpse of Elena.

The £350,000-a-week Welsh attacker had grown frustrated with his lack of starts under former manager Zinedine Zidane and needs to be convinced that he is a part of the plans at the La Liga club next season.

This latest update comes shortly after it was claimed that Manchester United are in "advanced" talks over a possible deal to sign Bale, five years after they tried to beat Real to his signature. That will be followed up by talks between his agent and Real president Florentino Perez at some point in the coming fortnight.

Speaking on the Transfer Window podcast he said: "I think you will see a very busy, very expensive summer for Real Madrid".

But with Manchester United known to be long-time admirers of Bale, he will want some kind of assurances that he'll be regarded as mainstay of the Real team next season. Luckily on 61 minutes our goalkeeping coach took too long to do the substitution on the paper, so it gave me an extra minute. I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision - if they want to let me go.
