Trumps get royal treatment at tea with Queen Elizabeth II

At one point, the queen can be seen gesturing to Trump, although it's unclear what exactly she may have been referring to.

Even amid his bomb-throwing comments about British politics in a tabloid newspaper interview, there was one subject President Donald Trump treated with exemplary graciousness: the queen. The President wore a suit and tie and the first lady wore a pale pink Dior suit with matching skirt and black belt.

"Trump baby", as the balloon is known, will be flown high over Parliament Square in London, but Mr. Trump is spending the day miles away from the center of the British capital - and the protesters - in meetings with Prime Minster Theresa May and then later with Queen Elizabeth II.

The British monarch welcomed Trump and Melania at Windsor Castle, Berkshire, for afternoon tea. Her gait has slowed over the years and she walks slowly and carefully.

The U.S. also risks giving the North Koreans leverage to continue diplomacy and drag out disarmament talks. According to estimates from the Pentagon, 7,700 US troops are still unaccounted for from the Korean War.

In the picture Friday from the Trumps' visit for tea, the Queen stands in the Grand Corridor between the couple holding her gloves and purse, without a smile and appearing unimpressed.

Steve Kingstone, the Queen's Media Secretary, and Sally Osman, the Director of Royal Communications, have recently assisted the Royal Family with the media frenzy surrounding Meghan Markle's absence from her wedding to Prince Harry. "He would be wise not to attempt to kiss her, and I don't expect for a moment that he will".

The former Celebrity Apprentice host said: "If you think of it, for so many years she has represented her country, she has never really made a mistake". You don't see, like, anything embarrassing. "Then to add insult to injury he keeps the Queen waiting 15 mins, doesn't bow just shakes her", tweeted Melanie Cassandra Burstall.

"My mother loved the Queen". "The feeling inside the palace is that Trump's disrespectful mistakes with the queen were awful and inexcusable".

The queen has met with 11 of 12 U.S. presidents during her reign - the only one she didn't encounter was President Lyndon Johnson.
