Godzilla unleashes ‘atomic breath’ in ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ first look

Godzilla 2 director Michael Dougherty says that the humans in the sequel are acting in the typical way that humans act after discovering something that they don't understand, which means that there's a lot of overreacting going on.

Entertainment Weekly revealed the image online on Thursday.

Michael Dougherty is directing Godzilla: King of the Monsters from a script he penned with Zach Shields.

"Not without giving away too much", he laughs. According to Dougherty Godzilla has not been seen since the destruction at the end of that film.

Gareth Edwards used the infamous Kaiju sparingly, saving the special effects budget for a slobber-knocker of a brawl between Godzilla and a pair of MUTO monsters that saw an entire city Man of Steeled in the process.

A spokesman of the church said the other three are expected to surrender on Thursday to the police in line with the court order. He was taken into custody from Kollam (south Kerala) and efforts are on to nab three others, police said.

There's paranoia and endless speculation about whether he is the only one out there or whether we're threatened by others like his kind.

Plot details revealed for Godzilla: King of the Monsters include that Vera Farmiga's Dr. Emma Russell is a scientist working for Monarch, and her daughter Madison, who is portrayed by Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, get kidnapped by a "a mysterious organization, with their own plans for the creatures". We've known for a while now that King of the Monsters will be bringing King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan into the fold, and Dougherty says the film does Rodan justice after the character has played sidekick to Godzilla in previous features. Head on over to EW to read the rest of their report, or stay tuned for more on Godzilla: King of The Monsters (probably written by gentleman, scholar and noted Godzilla aficionado Evan Saathoff, who really should have written this post) as further updates become available. He's like this winged A-bomb.

What do you think about Dougherty's comments about Rodan being more powerful than Godzilla?
