This is the first trailer to drop after OINTB gave us this teaser last month showing Litchfield in ruins post-riot. This year, it got pushed back to a July 27 release date, so it's coming about six weeks later than fans had grown accustomed to.
Keeping up with the trend from past seasons, Season 6 of Orange is the New Black takes place one week after the emergency response team stormed Litchfield Penitentiary. The ladies have been torn apart, literally and figuratively, as they enter a new facility in the latest season.
It's jarring to see these women that we've followed for so many seasons in a new prison, immediately evoking a feeling of dread. In anticipation, the streaming giant shared the first full trailer for season six, and it shows Litchfield's inmates settling into their new digs in maximum security - and it's anything but a smooth transition. The almost 2-and-half-minute trailer is just what Orange is the New Black fans need to wait out the next few weeks.

He held a PS4 controller in his hands while a game of NBA2K between the Celtics and Warriors was powered up on the screen. On the television beside him is what appears to be National Basketball Association 2k18, though we can't confirm this.
"This isn't home. this is not home!' a panicked Suzanne 'Crazy Eyes" Warren (Uzo Aduba) summarizes for her prison-mates at the top of the clip, only to be told sardonically by one of the guards: 'It is now'. With their new stomping grounds come an array of new problems: namely the explosive inmate rivalries based on the colors of their uniforms, and the violent riots that ensue because of them.
We'll have to wait and see on July 27. Friendships will be tested and new allegiances formed - some by choice and others by circumstance - as the women face a slew of charges from the riot.
From the looks of this trailer, Orange Is The New Black will continue in its dedication to providing compelling storylines for its characters, so get ready for an emotional rollercoaster.
