Last week, The Oklahoman confirmed another Wojnarowski report that the Thunder has intentions of trying to find a suitable trade for Anthony before the end of the summer.
Cameroonian free agent forward Luc Mbah a Moute has agreed to a one-year National Basketball Association deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, ESPN reported Monday, pushing the Houston Rockets to pursue Carmelo Anthony.
Some fans might not want Anthony in Houston, but the Rockets should definitely sign him under these three conditions.
Anthony is now a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder, but the two sides are reportedly working on parting ways, whether through a trade, a buyout or waiving via the stretch provision.
Reports surfaced on July 6 that the Thunder were looking to move Anthony.
Britain's Prince Louis christened without Queen
The monarch was due to return to London on Monday ahead of a busy schedule of events including a meeting with U.S. This is not the first time the royal family has commented on the baby prince's knack for snoozing.
Mbah a Moute spent the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons with the Clippers before joining the Rockets last season.
Many teams have been rumored to be interested, with the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets on top of the list. The Rockets jumped from 26th in points-per-game allowed all the way up to sixth in his one season. Shortly after, however, ESPN reported the two parties had decided they would go their separate ways.
Mbah a Moute has been a defensive stalwart throughout his 10-year career, averaging almost a steal per game throughout his tenure in the league and eclipsing that mark three of the past four seasons. "Avery's intensity and proven work ethic will have a direct impact on the performance and personality of this team".
As for Houston, by signing Anthony as a free agent, presumably for the veteran's minimum, it stands to get a bargain scorer the Thunder failed to fully unlock last season. It was the first time in his career that he averaged less than 20 points per game in a single campaign.
