LiAngelo Ball realizes dream of playing for LA basketball team... in the JBA

The league announced on Twitter on Monday that LiAngelo would join the Los Angeles Ballers and featured quotes from both Ball brothers about the move.

LiAngelo Ball couldn't find a spot on an NBA roster this summer so he has instead agreed to join his father's Junior Basketball Association, alongside his younger brother, LaMelo.

"After NBA teams surprisingly passed on LiAngelo Ball, he went to work out and give the teams that passed on him a show", the release stated.

"I just want to win for the team", LiAngelo said, via the JBA. "If I have to play in the G-League then that's what it's going to be".

Train derailment after rains in Turkey kills 24, injures 318
Health Minister Ahmet Demircan said 318 people required treatment after the accident with 124 still hospitalized. Turkey's ministry of transport said "the ground between the culvert and the rail collapsed" owing to heavy rain.

LaVar, the patriarch of the Ball family, has said previously all three of his sons, including 16-year-old LaMelo, would be playing for the Lakers in 2020.

The middle Ball brother said he just wants to win and is "trying to get better every day" after he went undrafted in the National Basketball Association.

"It's all business. If you're not playing hard, you get sent home", LaMelo said.

LiAngelo left UCLA during his freshman season for a Lithuanian professional league following his shoplifting arrest on a team trip to China. How LiAngelo's affiliation with the Ballers will help turn LaVar's vision into reality is unclear at this point.
