The actor George Clooney has reportedly been hospitalised after he was involved in an accident while riding a motorbike in Sardinia.
The 57-year-old Academy Award victor was traveling on a state road in Costa Corallina, a province of Olbia, when the crash occurred, TGCOM24 reported. "It turns out he had a scooter accident with only minor injuries", while another added: "George Clooney should not be tampered with 2018!"
He was taken to John Paul II hospital in Olbia in an ambulance following the incident.
A picture from La Nuova shows a smashed windscreen, which suggests George hit it during the crash, but despite this, his condition is not thought to be serious.

The publication states that according to La Nuova Sardegna, George was hit by the auto after it suddenly changed direction, taking him by surprise.
Clooney is now filming TV drama Catch-22 on the Italian island.
They met when she attended one of his parties at his Lake Como mansion, and Wednesday in Venice a year later.
