Project Treble is already built into the OnePlus 6 (perhaps one reason why it has access to the Android P beta), and has just arrived in the beta version of OxygenOS, now available for the two immediate predecessors to the OnePlus 6.

The compatibility with Project Treble is also what ensured that more phones were part of the Android P beta when it was announced at Google I/O this year in May. Today OnePlus has released a new pair of Open Betas for the OnePlus 5 and 5T, and the changes are quite substantial, including "Supported [sic] for Project Treble".

However because this is still beta software there will undoubtedly be bugs, meaning if you want to download it you should do so on a device that is not your primary phone.
