Prepare yourself for a walk down memory lane with updated ports of Shenmue and Shenmue II bundled together for PS4, XB1, and PC. With the games scheduled to release next month, you can now pre-order the Shenmue I & II bundle from the Xbox Store.
The original Shenmue was first released in 2000 (1999 in Japan) and has only ever been available on Sega's Dreamcast console.
The cult martial arts and forklift meme-generating adventure games will include modern control options, the chance to play the original game with Japanese dialogue, and scalable screen resolution. For a closer look at the game, you can check out the newly-released trailer from SEGA below, and you can also head over to Amazon to pre-order a physical copy of the game now. Without official word from Sega, however, fans are cautioned to take the news with a grain of salt even if the dates appear to be accurate. The Xbox conversion included a snapshot system with filters, texture mipmaps for improved anti-aliasing, and was slightly better graphically.
