While we all wait with bated breath to see what's in store next season on Netflix's hit series Stranger Things for Eleven, Mike, Lucas, Max, Dustin, Steve and the rest of the gang, we will be getting some new books that should shed some much-needed light on the Upside Down. According to a release from Penguin Random House, the leading publishing house has partnered with Netflix to bring out books based on the critically acclaimed Netflix original series Stranger Things.
You know your genre property has reached maximum pop culture penetration once it gets its own expanded universe of spin-off books, and for Stranger Things, that time has come. Written by author Gwenda Bond (Girl on a Wire, Girl in the Shadows), the novel will be about Eleven's (Millie Bobby Brown) mother and the MKUltra program.
The titles set to arrive in the Fall will have to be enough to hold fans of the series over until the third season of "Stranger Things" hits Netflix.

The 41-year-old also earned $10 million (R127 771 400, 00) from endorsement deals with companies like Hublot and Tequila Avion. The top golfers behind Woods were Phil Mickelson , Jordan Spieth , Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas .
Before then, two books related to the show will be released.
It'll be a long wait until Stranger Things season 3 arrives sometime in 2019, but how about a little bit of...unusual reading to bide the time? Francesca Reale will play a lifeguard at the Hawkins Community Pool, while Cary Elwes will play Mayor Kline, and Jake Busey will take on the part of Bruce, a journalist at the Hawkins Post. It's quite possible some of these new books will be used to fill in the "in-between seasons" backstory, and offer fans tantalizing clues before the new seasons drops, whenever that may be.
Sounds absolutely awesome. We'll let you know more about it when we get it.
