Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Y2 smartphone in India. The device comes in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants and is priced at Rs. 9,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively. Buyers can avail an instant Rs 500 discount on purchasing the device from Mi.com or Amazon.in using ICICI Bank credit or debit cards under the first sale offer.
The Xiaomi juggernaut in the budget and mid-range segment in India continues to roll with the company setting new benchmarks in terms of value for money devices as well as sales figures with each offering, really. The brand debuted the new Y-series previous year with its maiden Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite.

MIUI 10 was launched in China on May 31 when Xiaomi had announced the Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer Edition and Mi 8 SE smartphones. The cameras can shoot only 1080p 30fps video and there is no 4K video recording support.
However, the cameras that it packs is definitely better than the one found on the Redmi Note 5.
