Irish actor Alan O'Neill has died aged 47..
He was discovered dead at his apartment in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, his manager Gray Meyer confirmed.
An autopsy will take place in the near future, although officials are not suspecting any foul play.
The American actor was best known for his role in Seasons 6 and 7 of FX's hit Sons of Anarchy. He also had a recurring role on Irish television drama series Fair City. The Kerri-Ann actress shared a number of photos of her with O'Neill on the set of the film, tweeting that he will be sadly missed, while sharing her thoughts and prayers with his family.

In light of his death, some of O'Neill's former co-workers have shared messages via social media. He starred on the Irish soap opera "Fair City" from 2006 until 2012.

The performer's U.S. manager Greg Meyer also confirmed Mr O'Neill's death to Variety magazine. "Rest in peace old pal". "Despite the miles between L.A. and Dublin, Alan was only ever a phone call away".
