Stephanie Clifford, the adult movie star professionally known as Stormy Daniels, said her former lawyer colluded with Donald Trump's long-term attorney Michael Cohen in a bid to make her lie about her alleged tryst with Trump.
One of the things Giuliani said was this, about Stormy Daniels: "I respect women-beautiful women and women with value -but a woman who sells her body for sexual exploitation I don't respect". The countersuit was filed Thursday in federal court in Los Angeles - hours after Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani claimed Daniels isn't credible and has "no reputation" because she's a porn actress.
At the end of the segment, Avenatti lauded First Lady Melania Trump's comments appearing to distance herself from Giuliani, who claimed she was in agreement with his assessment of the situation.
When asked by CNN for his response to the statement from the first lady's office, Giuliani said he didn't regret his comments. "I don't believe Stormy Daniels".
