The first lady has joined President Donald Trump at an event at the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The First Lady tweeted her own assurance that she was doing well last week.

"This morning, first lady Melania Trump underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition".

On Wednesday, the First Lady re-emerged shoulder-to-shoulder with Mr Trump, at the head of a conference table at the Federal Emergency Management Agency headquarters in Washington.

Stelter also tweeted Sunday a graphic of Melania Trump highlighting that she was "last seen" on May 10, complete with a calendar peppered with question marks over the individual days she had "disappeared".

"So for the first lady to be away a little more than two weeks, it does feel like an awfully long time", Roberts remarked.

"We're very proud of her, she's done a fantastic job as First Lady".

Executive Director Rebecca Crowder said she, too, has yet to hear from the White House about plans for a follow-up.

The army circulated a picture of what it said was the ax lying on the ground near the border. Hamas has also been orchestrating weekly violent protests along the Israel-Gaza frontier.

Grisham told ABC News last Wednesday that the first lady was "doing really well". Though she has not verbally addressed the speculation regarding her whereabouts (she only tweeted that she was "feeling great" on May 30), her presence in the decidedly unflashy look seemed to make the statement: "I'm here".

A tweet from Melania Trump's account included pictures of her sitting in the front row at the Gold Star families event.

Her husband on Wednesday lashed out about the rumors, though he wrongly said the news media had reported them. The Huffington Post asked, "I Wonder Who Wrote That Melania Trump Tweet", suggesting that Trump himself may have written it.

Trump's critics denounced his comments as a personal attack on members of the media and revived criticism of the way in which the president describes his female detractors like former Fox News and current NBC host Megyn Kelly, who he once said had "blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever".

USA Today wondered in a video, "Where is Melania Trump?".

No argument from Joe Scarborough, who agreed entirely that "it would be a "vicious" and "unfair" person would lie about a loved one having a facelift for the objective of causing pain and embarrassment".

"But she had not been seen in public until Monday night, ever since that the operation on her kidney at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center".
